4 nights, 5 days New Year Eve in Merzouga:
Day1-Marrakech to Ouarzazate:

Departure from Marrakech to Ouarzazate over the High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi N'tichka Pass (2260m) and Berber farms with traditional villages on the two side of the mountains, Telouet Kasbah, visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site Kasbah of Ait ben haddou then drive to Ouarzazate and Check into Kasbah hotel Ouarzazate.

Day2-Ouarzazate-Todra Gorges:

Departure from Ouarzazate to Tinerhir via Skoura with its famous palm grove, Kalaa M'Gouna the town of roses, Boumalen Dades through the "la route de 1000 kasbah", Dades Gorges, Tinerhir then, Check into Ksbah hotel Tinerhir (Todra Gorges).

Day3-Todra Gorges-Merzouga:

Departure from Todra Gorges through Todra valley, Jorf with the traditional canal of irrigation, Erfour, Merzouga and Check into Kasbah hotel Merzouga Erg chebbi .

Day4-Merzouga tours and camel treks:

Tour of the Erg chebbi sand dunes visiting lac of Serj, Kamlia village with its famous gnawa music, old mines, drive through the black desert and visit a family nomad living in this area, the fossils natural places before come back the kasbah hotel for your camel trek to spend the night in the desert, Dinner and overnight in a Bivouac.

Day5-Merzouga to Marrakech/ or to Fes:

Departure from Merzouga to Marrakech via Risani, the palm trees oasis of Alnif and Tazarine, Draa valley, Ouarzazate with Taourirte Kasbah and back to Marrakech via the high Atlas Mountains.

Day1-Marrakech to Ouarzazate:

Day4-Zagora-Chegaga Dunes:

Departure from zagora to Chegaga Dunes via Tamgrout visiting the underground kasbah with its famous Koranic school and library and local pottery cooperative then, drive south following the Draa valley until arrive to M'hamid then, drive more to the south until arrive the Sand Dunes of Chegaga and spend the night in Berber tents.

Day5-Chegaga Dunes-Marrakech:

After a sunrise and a Berber breakfast, drive back to Marrakech via Ouarzazate and Taourirte Kasbah.

3 nights, 4 Days New Year Eve in Merzouga:
Day1-Fes to Merzouga:

Departure from Fes at 8:00 a.m. traveling Merzouga via Ifran (high Atlas) , Azrou, Midelt, Ziz gorges, Er-rachidia, the ziz valley and spend the night in Merzouga (Kasbah hotel).

Day2-Merzouga tour and camel treks:

Tour of the Erg chebbi sand dunes visiting lac of Serj, Kamlia village with its famous gnawa music, old mines, drive through the black desert and visit a family nomad living in this area, the fossils natural places before come back the Kasbah hotel for your camel trek to spend the night in the desert, Dinner and over night in a Bivouac.

Day4-Boumalen Dades-Marrakech:

Departure at 8:00 a.m. traveling towards Kelaa Mgouna (rose valley), Skoura, Ouarzazate, Taourirte Kasbah, the movie film studio, Ait Benhaddou and then to Marrakech Via the high Atlas Mountains with tichka pass (2260m.).

Day1-Marrakech to Ouarzazate:

Camel trekking approximately for two hours then meet your Driver for an off road adventure before arriving to chgaga dunes where you will enjoy and celebrate the New Year.

Day4-Chegaga Dunes-Marrakech:

After a sunrise and a Berber breakfast, drive back to Marrakech via Ouarzazate and Taourirte Kasbah.

Les bienfaits du bain de sable de Merzouga sur la santé

Le bain de sable de Merzouga jouit d’une grande réputation quant à ses vertus thérapeutiques. Le bain de sable offre beaucoup d’avantages pour la santé, particulièrement dans le traitement de certains problèmes articulaires.

Le principe du bain de sable de Merzouga

Le principe du bain sur les dunes de Merzouga est de s’enterrer dans le sable brûlant pendant 5 à 20 minutes selon le cas. Cette durée dépend entièrement de l’état de santé de la personne, mais plus on passe du temps dans le bain, plus ses effets sont décuplés. Quoi qu’il en soit, il ne faut pas excéder les 20 minutes, car c’est le maximum que peut tolérer le corps humain. Et surtout, on n’oublie pas de prendre un thé chaud après le bain.
À part le fait que ce bain ait des bienfaits sur notre santé, c’est également un programme minceur par excellence : très efficace si l’on veut réduire la charge pondérale. En effet, le sable chaud de 45°C au thermomètre permet d’évacuer l’excès d’eau dans l’organisme. Suite à la sudation provoquée, les graisses et les toxines vont être libérées.

La période idéale pour s’offrir un bain de sable à Merzouga

Avant tout, localisons les dunes de Merzouga. Il s’agit d’une région du sud du Maroc, à proximité de Rissani et Errachidia. Pour y aller, on a le choix entre le mois de juin, juillet et août, car ces périodes sont idéales pour le bain de sable. En effet, la température est comprise entre 35° et 45°C. L’avantage est que le sable est déjà brûlant naturellement, plus besoin de chauffer quoi que ce soit.
En revanche, il faut faire attention pendant le mois de juillet, car c’est la période des tempêtes de sable et les températures peuvent monter jusqu’à 50°C, donc ce n’est pas évident de s’y rendre tous les jours. Si vous décidiez d’y aller à cette période, il faudra attendre les jours indiqués par les habitants pour jouir d’un bain de sable.
Attention, les personnes atteintes de diabète ou de problèmes cardiaques ne doivent pas recourir à cette pratique.
